The Division of Agriculture at University of Mount Olive has a vacancy for a faculty position in the area of plant science.  The position will be a full-time, 9-month appointment beginning August 2016. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate mission of the agriculture division and university. Teaching responsibilities will include preparation and teaching of lower and upper-level undergraduate courses in plant sciences to include horticulture and crop science. The candidate would also participate in division activities, collegiate club activities, student farm development and other facility enhancement projects. Demonstrated success as an instructor and in the application of innovative and hands-on teaching techniques is preferred. Minimum Qualifications:

MS in Horticulture, Crop Science or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Plant Sciences (Horticulture, Crop Science or related discipline)
