Bio focus, but I can think of several people in our community who are as much bio ed as they are geo ed…So - in case this is the perfect job for a recent PhD...

The individual will also have the opportunity to develop and pursue a research question of his/her own related to the teaching and learning of biology.

> Candidates must have either a Ph.D. in the life sciences with demonstrated interest in science education research or a Ph.D. in science education with significant biology coursework. Candidates should also have strong statistical skills and demonstrated success with scholarly writing. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Desirable qualifications include experience with educational video games and validation or experience conducting education research.
