This individual will primarily work on research project aimed at assessing content knowledge acquisition, understanding the nature of science, and attitudes towards STEM careers in Elementary school students through the use of video games. The individual will also have the opportunity to develop and pursue a research question of his/her own related to the teaching and learning of biology. > > Candidates must have either a Ph.D. in the life sciences with demonstrated interest in science education research or a Ph.D. in science education with significant biology coursework. Candidates should also have strong statistical skills and demonstrated success with scholarly writing. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
