The Department of
International Business (School of Business) at the George Washington University
invites applications for a regular non-tenure track position in
International Business at an open rank beginning as early as the academic year 2016-2017.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking applicants to teach a range of
International Business (IB) courses in our undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral
programs, as well as serve as a CIBER (Center for International Business
Education and Research) director and conduct high-quality IB research
in the areas of global strategy
and management.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have
a doctorate in a field
relevant to International Business, such as economics, management, strategy, or
a related field. Applicants must demonstrate teaching
excellence as indicated by teaching letters of recommendation or teaching
assessments. Applicants must have prior
experience as director of a CIBER (with grant funds from the U.S. Department of
Education). Applicants must also have a demonstrated commitment and
ability/potential to conduct high-quality scholarly research publishable in top
outlets on topics important to international business, as evidenced by
publications in scholarly journals.

the few freestanding IB departments in the US, with 15 full time

Best Colleges and 2016’s Best Graduate Schools and ranked George Washington University's
undergraduate program in International Business
