Duncan Levesley, China specialist and consultant with Grant Thornton UK LLP. Duncan is based in the UK for Grant Thornton's China Britain Services Group. Duncan has been working with China for over 10 years. He has advised a wide variety of UK companies on their strategy for growing their business in China. Grant Thornton China have over 3000 staff in 21 cities across the country.

Kerry Brown<https://s5.newzapp.co.uk/t/gtl_4.aspx?LID=MTA5NTMzMzUsOTYzMzIwMjExLDE0> is Professor of Chinese Studies at the Director of the Lau China Institute at King's College, London. He is an Associate Fellow of the Asia Programme at Chatham House, London. Prior to this he was Professor of Chinese Politics and Director of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. He has authored over 10 books on China including: CEO, China: The Rise of Xi Jinping, The New Emperors: Power and the Princelings of China, What's Wrong With Diplomacy and Contemporary China.

Samer Chamsi-Pasha is the Chairman of Hield China, a subsidiary of the Hield Group, an English textile manufacturer and retailer of men's clothing and luxury goods. The company was established in 1922 and has a long history of supplying cloth to brands such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Burberry and Paul Smith, among others as well as producing the cloth for its own suits and other luxury products. Hield has been involved with China since 1985 and set up its subsidiary there in 2004. Samer Chamsi-Pasha has many years' experience of business in the Chinese market.

Who should attend: The breakfast panel discussion is targeted as businesses with a special interest in the Chinese market and policymakers interested in the implications of the current Chinese economic position for the UK.
