Title: Brief outage on Avaya Campus PBX 
Status:  Open
Comments: Due to a severe data corruption issue affecting call centers
and users on the system, the Avaya Campus PBX will need move services
to the backup datacenter during this emergency maintenance window. 
During this move there will be a brief outage that will affect the
entire East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Flint and Detroit campuses.

Users on analog or digital phones (Avaya 2410, 2420, 9404, 9408
telephones) will see approximately a 1 minute outage.  Calls will not
be preserved

Users on Avaya IP telephones (Avaya 9610, 9620, 9630, 9650, 9608,
9611, 9621, 9641) will experience approximately a 5 minute outage. 
Active calls will not be preserved, and the phones will display the
message "Discovering"

Voicemail will remain active during this outage.

All ACD users will need to relogin after this maintenance is complete.
 

Users that wish to preserve incoming phone service during this outage
can forward their phones to cellular devices by dialing *2 and then
the number of phone as if you were dialing it from your desk (For
example, 999-9999 would be *2 8 999 9999).
