As you are likely aware, there is a major power outage on campus right now.

·         Many areas are without power including residence halls.

·         Additional area of campus may lose power.

·         The campus has enacted the MSU emergency operations center (EOC).

·         We cannot guarantee technologies will be available cross campus.

o   Depends on localized generator set up.

·         MSU IT has executed their emergency and continuity of operations plans.

·         We are shedding load on our technology systems by taking off development, test, QA (non-production) systems in anticipation of needing to move to generator power.

 

We encourage your units to follow your continuity of operations procedures as well.
