From: Ball, Katherine Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2016 11:30 AM To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> Subject: MSU Power Outage Importance: High As you are likely aware, there is a major power outage on campus right now. · Many areas are without power including residence halls. · Additional area of campus may lose power. · The campus has enacted the MSU emergency operations center (EOC). · We cannot guarantee technologies will be available cross campus. o Depends on localized generator set up. · MSU IT has executed their emergency and continuity of operations plans. · We are shedding load on our technology systems by taking off development, test, QA (non-production) systems in anticipation of needing to move to generator power. We encourage your units to follow your continuity of operations procedures as well.
