It is best to coordinate this through your yellow-hat or building coordinator. They have the official answer for what to do and when.

Should we be looking at moving to DR mode then? Or is the current electrical service that *is* available expected to remain stable?

Al,

Short answer – this issue will take at least a few hours to get things back online. There was a major failure at the power plant. I’m expecting that things will get a lot worse before they get better because of the way the power plant has to restore service.

Subject: [MSUNAG] What to Expect with Power Outage?

Hi everyone,
Just curious what we can expect going forward? Here in Bessey, it seems the phones aren’t working, and the air handlers have stopped, but Internet seems uninterrupted, and general power within our office, including power to our servers seems unaffected. Can we anticipate that this will continue to be the case?
Thanks,

Al
