Florida Atlantic University is inviting applications for a newly created position of IB Program Director at the rank of Associate Professor/Full Professor. It is a tenure-track position and the successful candidate will work with faculty across disciplines and supervise the International Business Program at the undergraduate, Master’s and PhD levels. It is expected that the IB Program Director:
•         Will be able to assist in coordinating the scheduling and content of the IB related courses,
•         Will motivate students with prolonged exposure to other countries and cultures and, where possible, practical international business experience,
•         Will strengthen the IB undergraduate program,
•         Will re-create an MBA program in IB,
•         Will give emphasis in recruiting IB students for our PhD program.

Applicants must have a completed doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited school, or other known accrediting body in business.  Documented research accomplishments appropriate to senior rank appointment are essential (e.g., journal articles) as well as evidence of excellence in teaching and administrative experience. Faculty in the department of Management Programs publish high quality scholarship in the areas of management, business policy/strategy, organizational behavior, human resource management, health care management/administration, entrepreneurship and international business.

The College of Business is located in Boca Raton and also has a campus in Davie.  Both campuses are located on the beautiful coastal areas of South Florida, which offer a high quality of life.  Florida Atlantic University is currently serving around 30,000 students, has more than 1,000 faculty and its 10 colleges offer more than 170 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
