2016 PARIS GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM ON SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Dear Friends and Colleagues, 

 

On December 2015, the world celebrated the international climate change agreement reached at the end of United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) held in Paris. Critics believe that the Paris accord does not go far enough to protect the planet. Nevertheless, the COP21 agreement is widely considered to be the turning point for the world as it is the most far-reaching climate commitment made so far by 195-member states of the United Nations. Against this backdrop, You are invited to join the academic community from around the world to get-together in PARIS to examine the pivotal role of social, environmental and economic sustainability.

DEADLINES:

 

FULL PAPERS - JULY 1, 2016. All full-paper submissions will be reviewed for publication in one of the double-blind, peer-refereed Journals Sponsoring the 2016 PARIS Symposium or the refereed Conference Proceedings with ISBN number issued by the Library of the Congress. The authors of these articles will receive their publications in person while still attending the Academic OASIS/ IAABR Conference in Paris (one copy per a registered participant will be provided free of charge). 

EXTRA BONUS: SELECTED PAPERS will be published in a special peer-refereed volume by SPRINGER VERLAG GmbH, Heidelberg, Germany (in English).

ABSTRACTS - JULY 5, 2016: The authors of all accepted abstracts will have the chance to PRESENT THEIR RESEARCH IN PROGRESS at the PARIS SYMPOSIUM which will also give them the OPPORTUNITY to submit their COMPLETED PAPERS by DECEMBER 1ST, 2016, in order to be considered for a journal publication OR publications in the peer-refereed volume by SPRINGER VERLAG GmbH, Heidelberg, Germany.

REGULAR REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JULY 8, 2016

EARLY BIRD BONUS: All symposium participants, who complete their registration, including the payment of all conference dues, by JUNE 15th will receive a COMPLIMENTARY VOUCHER to cover the cost of AN ONE-DAY SIGHTSEEING BUS TOUR OF PARIS to take place on July 17th.

The Organizing Committee of the 2016 Paris Symposium is very pleased to announce that the Keynote Address at the 2016 Paris Symposium on Sustainable Social and Economic will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Dieter Flämig, the Managing Director of STRATEGY GmbH (located in Berlin, Germany). Prof. Dr. Dieter Flämig is also a co-Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of the INFRANEU (since 1994) and head of the management of CHINA GATE BERLIN (since 2005). In addition, he is a former State Secretary to the Governing Mayor of Berlin and a Co-founder and President (since 2008) of INFRAWIND EURASIA (a preferred Sister Association of Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES) and a partner of China Power International / CPINE).

To submit your full paper or abstract, please email it as an attachment (acceptable formats are .doc and .docx) to [log in to unmask] (please put “PARIS GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM” in the Subject line of your message). All submissions will be double blind peer-refereed by members of the Conference Review Committee. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 3-4 weeks after the arrival of their submissions. 

 

Authors, who could NOT travel to Paris for visa or other reasons, may PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY in the PARIS GLOBAL SYMPOSIUM, and these authors will have the same publication opportunities, as the regular participants in the symposium.

 

The regular registration fee is €250 (the reduced registration fee for virtual participants via Skype is €230, and the special student fee is €220). The regular registration fee includes: 1) One printed issue of the journal or Proceedings CD containing your paper;  2) an Official Certificate for International Symposium participation; 3) the Symposium Luncheon, Receptions, Coffee Breaks and Keynote Address; 4) Attending all sessions of the Global Symposium; 5) Attending all Social and Networking events; 6) Listing of your presentation in the Official Program; 8) Explore the history, culture, and night life of PARIS, the City of Light and Capital of Fashion!
