Update to Telecommunication online billing process

Attention MSU faculty and staff authorized for viewing IPF Telecommunication systems online billing statements.

Effective March 30, 2016 logging into the Telecom billing system will change. Invoices processed:

• after March 25, 2016 will be available through the new Pinnacle billing system.
• before Feb. 25, 2016 will continue to be stored and available to authorized users in the existing MySoft Legacy online billing system.

Access to both systems are available from the Telecom Billing webpage at http://ipf.msu.edu/services/billing/telecom.html. Authentication will require an MSUnetID password that has been established after July 2015.

Reasons for change:

• Enhanced features include allowing for the full account string reducing manual transactions.
• Provides future opportunities to expand, which would add additional efficiencies within campus processes. 
• Improved system performance.
• Support for MySoft is limited and development was discontinued on Dec. 31, 2015.
