Assistant Professor in International Business Position at SUNY New Paltz

The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the area of International Business with a focus on management. Fall 2016 is the anticipated start date. The normal teaching load is three courses per semester. Faculty also participate in curriculum development and assessment, and contribute to the life and work of the school and the college. An active research program yielding ongoing publication in peer-reviewed journals is required for tenure.

 

The School of Business at SUNY New Paltz, an AACSB accredited institution, has a highly collegial atmosphere and emphasizes a balance between teaching and research. The School offers undergraduate degrees in six majors (including international business), a general MBA, and an MBA in Public Accountancy.

 

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in international business or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution is preferred; ABD candidates with a firm completion date will be considered. Candidates must be qualified to teach international business as well as management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. There is flexibility with regard to the focus within management (e.g. international human resource management, international organizational behavior, international strategy).
