The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) is a citation index produced by Thomson Reuters. ESCI as a part of Web of Science covers influential journals across various disciplines. These journals are potential candidates to be included in Science Citation Index representing the world's leading journals of science and technology, because of a rigorous selection process.
