Description: The APSIM initiative in collaboration with Iowa State University organizes a 3 day training course on APSIM (Agricultural Production Systems sIMulator, www.apsim.info). The goal of this workshop is to provide training in the use of the model, explain the science behind the models, present data requirements and familiarize participants with simulations. This course is designed for students, faculty and agronomists who have interest in using simulation models in research and education. Registration is limited to 25 participants and the registration deadline is April 15th, 2016.
