Competitiveness Review

The Competitiveness Review – published by Emerald - is a leading international platform for academic research policy dialogue on clusters, innovation and competitiveness. Accordingly, the Journal has a global focus, covering locations at all stages of economic development. The Competitiveness Review appears in collaboration with key academic and professional groups in the field of competitiveness analysis and policy, including the Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) network (Institute of Strategy and Competitiveness/Harvard Business School) and The Competitiveness Institute (TCI) practitioner network for competitiveness, clusters and innovation.

Lately, a Special Issue that marks the 25 Years of Michael Porter’s The Competitive Advantage of Nations as been released. The Special Issue features seven papers by renowned authors. You may access the articles by following the links below.

The Editors highly encourage interested contributors to submit their work/papers. Submissions to the Competitiveness Review are directly made using ScholarOne Manuscripts, the online submission and peer review system. More information and guidance is available here.

The Competitiveness Review is included in Scopus and Abstracted/Indexed in Book Review Index, Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management & Marketing, EBSCO (Business Source Complete), EconLit, INSPEC, Quality Control and Applied Statistics, Risk Abstracts, Standard Periodical Directory, Technical Education and Training Abstracts, World Banking Abstracts, Zetoc (British Library).

Each paper in the Competitiveness Review is assigned a DOI® number by the publisher along with the author’s affiliation. All published papers have undergone rigorous and anonymized peer review after a first selection by the Editors.
