Call for Papers

Deadline for Abstract/Full Paper Submission: March 15, 2016

 
The Center for Sustainability Research and Consultancy (CSRC) in collaboration with School of Economics, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan, Emerald Group Publishing UK, School of Business Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia and World Association of Business Schools in Islamic Countries (WAiBS) seeks to invite academicians and research scholars to submit their abstract/full papers for presentation at 1st International Conference on Economics Business and Social Sciences to be held on April 12-13, 2016. The conference will take place at Holiday Inn Hotel, Penang, Malaysia and BZU Multan Pakistan, simultaneously. Both venues will be connected through video conference link during plenary session and keynote speeches. Parallel sessions of the conference will take place at both venues simultaneously. 

The conference moreover is also sponsored by a number of well known peer-reviewed journals and books edited by distinguished scholars (See details here). The International Scientific Committee is comprising of distinguished academicians and research scholars in the areas of economics, business and social sciences.

SPECIAL TRACKS
Case studies and research papers (both conceptual and empirical) are invited for two special conference tracks in the area of pro-poor and environmental friendly business models. Papers/case studies submitted for these tracks will be evaluated for the best paper/case study award sponsored by the Center for Sustainability Research and Consultancy. Kinldy mention 'Speacial Track’ on the title page of your abstract/paper/case study if it is related to either of following categories.
1. Inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship at base of pyramid (BoP) market
2. Environmental sustainability of SMEs in developing countries
 
SUBMISSION, REVIEW PROCESS & ACCEPTANCE NOTICE:
 Authors can send either abstract (Maximum 300 words) and/or full papers in the areas of economics, business and various disciplines of social sciences via Email ([log in to unmask]). All papers/abstract must contain the title, authors’ names, affiliation, area of research and contact information. Kindly see Authors Guidelines for abstract and full papers submissions. All abstract and/or full papers will undergo blind review process. The authors can submit abstract/full paper by March 15, 2016. The reviewers’ panel of the conference is comprised of diverse set of established academicians from Pakistan, Malaysia and other countries.
 
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Book of abstracts will be published by the University Press of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan and will be available on conference website in downloadable form.
 
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
The 1st International Research Conference on Economics Business and Social Sciences is honoured to have distinguished sponsoring journals. All accepted full papers will be published in either of the sponsoring journals or edited books. The edited books will be published by the University Press of Bahauddin Zakariya University and Center for Sustainability Research and Consultancy jointly.

TRAVEL GRANT SCHOLARSHIPS
The conference would simultaneously take place at two venues i.e. School of Economics, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Pakistan and Holiday Inn Resort, Penang, Malaysia. Both venues will be connected through video conference link during keynote speeches and award ceremony yet parallel sessions will take place simultaneously at both venues. School of Economics, BZU Pakistan will provide partial travel grant scholarships consisting of airport pick/drop, lodging, food and city tour to up to 07 faculty members and PhD Scholars from  Universiti Utara Malaysia who wish to present their papers at its venue. This unique opportunity is to enable research scholars to blend their learning and academic networking with taste of rich culture, food and scenery of Pakistan at cost of air ticket alone.

PAPER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP (PDW)
The conference program also includes high-valued Paper Development Workshop (PDW) for the participants at both conference venues. The editorial delegate from Emerald Group Publishing UK (www.emeraldinsight.com) will deliver the workshop related to journal writing and publishing in the areas of economics, business and social sciences. Participating faculty members and research scholars will get excellent opportunity to interact and network with the editorial staff of Emerald Group and get hands-on information related to publication opportunities and research support funding. The participants of workshop will be awarded certificate from Emerald Group Publishing.
Those participants registered before the due date will be entitled to free entry to PDW at both conference venues. Participants registered after due date will have to pay fee (RM 100) for the PWD
 
MEMBERSHIP, AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES
All conference participants will be offered free membership to become Associate Fellow and Young Scholar Fellow of the Center for Sustainability Research and Consultancy. This will allow you to be part of collaborative research projects with international community of scholars and enhance your research output in a meaningful way to impact the world around. The members will also be able join our future conferences, seminars and workshops at a discounted rate. Best Paper Award and Outstanding Paper award in each track will be conferred. Certificate of presentation will be issued to participants for presenting their research at the conference. Certificate of chairing a session will be issued to session chairs acknowledging their contribution in the conference.
