Whelp, apparently they did actually communicate it properly, I just apparently couldn't read last years announcements of the new ip ranges for the wireless ip ranges.  Looking back at that more closely, they did say:
35.20.0.0/15 for authenticated and
35.22.0.0/15 for guest

What I missed was that the netmask was /15, I was reading it as /16.

So apparently, as usual, my fault on missing this one.
