As the support ticket notes, students with accounts on Office365 do not have accounts on the legacy mail system which is used as the authentication system for FileDepot. This is noted in Techbase article TB19631 at the very end, though I found out by word-of-mouth two weeks ago myself. If the current FileDepot system could use CampusAD for authentication that would restore the students access to the service. If that’s possible to do is outside of my knowledge domain. A request to the MSU IT Service Desk would be the best place to ask though as it’s the recommend channel for questions / requests / feedback / etc.

Preface: I’m not part of the FileDepot support team. Feedback for that team are best shared through the MSU IT Service Desk to be routed to those that are decision makers, of which I am not.

If this is not true, then whoever manages the IT Service desk should take a look at request 14620. I’m pasting the answer our student received below:
