Dear Academy of International Business Colleagues,
Please consider submitting a chapter to our new book on Strategic - Global Management.

Introduction
The world has evolved and a result, the concept of globalization remains the focus of investigation by scholars and practitioners across disciplines and industries. Almost every country¡¦s economy is either dependent on, or heavily involved in technology, especially those categorized as ¡§Emerging Economies¡¨. It is within this framework that global managers face serious geopolitical issues. These challenges encompass geopolitical and economic risks, foreign country expansion, foreign currency wars, country of origin and brand recognition as a result of frauds and falsification, data breach, etc. In addition, changes in the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, Environmental (PESTLE) forces significantly affect the global business landscape. Therefore, there is a need for the global manager to stay informed and constantly vigilant of the threatening and potentially catastrophic events that may negatively affect the global operations. As a result, scholars are compelled to engage in conducting scientific research whose results mediate the potentially negative impact caused by the ever-changing external environment. In turn, managers can apply the findings to their operations to improve productivity, profits, return on investment thus reducing or preventing low levels of employees¡¦ motivation, low productivity, high staff turnover, all of which have a direct effect on the sustainable profitability and longevity of the firm. In sum, the handbook of research on geopolitical managerial issues will be beneficial to a wide audience including, but not limited to, scholars in higher education, doctoral students, managers across industries, consultants and government agencies.
