When I had to upgrade from Server 2003 to 2008 (I needed 32-bit), I vaguely remember that I had to look for KBs 926139, 926139-v2, 926140 and 926141 in C:\Windows for an NtUninstall folder for each. I used spuninst.exe in each case. That got the upgrade going.

By-the-way, cannot find Hotfix for Windows Server 2003 (KB926141) as was suggested in a Microsoft support doc I found in a web search.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Uninstall PowerShell 1.0

With all the Windows server 2003 upgrades done recently, has someone come up with a clean way to remove PowerShell 1.0? I am running 2003 R2 updating to 2008. Any help is appreciated.
