Calling all Farmers, Researchers and Educators! This event is being held at GLEXPO-sadly at the same time (9 am) of Thursday's Morning Organic Session. But if you are interested in sharing your thoughts of where USDA should focus their research priorities this is your chance to be heard. Of course, you can also send in your comments which must be received by Dec 21. Looking forward to seeing you at this fun event next week in Grand Rapids at the DeVos Center (GLEXPO.org) for the full schedule. I just wanted to pass along the info below about a Dec 10 meeting in Grand Rapids. The National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics Advisory (NAREEEA) Board's Specialty Crop Committee will hold a public hearing to receive public comments on specialty crop/ organic research issues. If you or anyone from your org plans to attend this meeting, we'd love to hear any highlights and major takeaways post-meeting.
