Call for Chapters
Proposals Submission Deadline: December 31, 2015
Full Chapters Due: January 15, 2016
Submission Date: May 15, 2016

Introduction
International business (IB) has plenty of extant literature, but the
missing component in that literature is how IB is affected by the "hidden
dynamics" of diplomacy, espionage, and geopolitics as these realities are
generally not considered in business operations because they are largely
hidden from public view and understanding. This is particularly important
when considering global hypercompetition and sustainable economics in IB.
This publication will connect these issues with IB and provide some
explanation regarding the importance for business executives and managers
to consider such issues in strategic planning and operations.

Objective
The value of this publication is to provide business and government
executives with reference material that can be used in strategic planning
and operations, among other functions such as human resource management and
security. Because there is no extant literature which covers the effects of
diplomacy, espionage, and geopolitics on IB in one source or publication,
this book would be of particular value to executives, researchers, and
graduate students of IB and related subjects

Target Audience
The target audience includes business and government executives, graduate
and undergraduate business students, and scholar-practitioners who need a
single source regarding the understudied effects of diplomacy, espionage,
and geopolitics on international business
