Position: Post Doctoral Fellow (Non Tenure Track, 2 year appointment beginning January, 2016) 
 
Primary Responsibilities: Engage in local and sustainable specialty crop production research, particularly looking at high tunnel usage and local product distribution. This project is led by an interdisciplinary team of scholars from Indiana and Purdue Universities, utilizing a social-ecological systems framework to better understand the successes and challenges of high tunnel usage amongst Indiana specialty crop farmers. Required qualifications include: strong knowledge of sustainable and local food system related literature; background in mixed-methods social science research (including both quantitative and qualitative methods); ability to work independently; and valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred qualifications also include knowledge of GIS software/analysis. 
 
Qualifcations: Doctoral degree or ABD (All But Dissertation). 
 
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
