Fantastic fellowship opportunities for MSU graduate students interested in or currently conducting research in association with the Kellogg Biological Station Long-term Ecological Research (KBS LTER) Program (
lter.kbs.msu.edu).
Available:
1.) One Full Year (Ph.D.) Fellowship for 2016-2017
Provides stipend support ($30,000) plus tuition and fees for one year beginning Fall 2016 (3 credits for each of Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 semesters; 1 credit Summer 2017 semester). Additional funds will be available for travel and meeting expenses or additional credits. The fellowship is open to current MSU PhD candidates. Residency at KBS is not required, nor is pre-existing engagement in KBS LTER research. Applicants must have passed their comprehensive exam prior to the application deadline.
2.) Two Summer (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) Fellowships for 2016
Each provides up to $9,000 of support to offset tuition and fees during Summer 2016, with the balance provided as a stipend. Additional funds (up to $1,000) may be requested for travel, meetings, or other research-related expenses. Applicants must be graduate students currently enrolled at MSU. Candidacy is not required, nor is KBS residency or pre-existing engagement in KBS LTER research.
