We are seeing it at IPF as well.  The out of cycle patch that was released this morning seems to be helping.  We are having users install the new patch and reboot.

Good morning,

Just wanted to send a quick note in case anyone else on campus is experiencing this same issue – we’ve had some problems this morning with HTML emails causing Outlook 2010 to crash when attempting to download pictures within the email message. The cause of the issue appears to be Microsoft Update KB3097877 which was released on 11/10/15, and uninstalling this update has resolved the problem. According to this TechNet forum, this particular update may also cause similar issues in Outlook 2013.
