Call for Chapters
Proposals Submission Deadline: November 15, 2015
*Full Chapters Due: January 31, 2016*
Submission Date: June 15, 2016

Introduction
The Asian region has plenty of extant literature, especially on a
country-by-country basis (e.g., China or Japan), but the missing component
in that literature is a single publication on how this growing entity will
affect the rest of the world in the 21st century. This is particularly
important when considering global hypercompetition and sustainable
economics in the fastest growing region in the world. This publication will
provide some explanation regarding the importance for business executives
and managers to consider such issues in strategic planning and operations.

Objective
The value of this publication is to provide business and government
executives with reference material that could be used in strategic planning
and operations, among other functions such as human resource
management and security. Because there is no one Reference publication
encompassing the entire Asia/Pacific region regarding the economic and
technological advancements on the rest of the world, this handbook would be
of particular value to executives, researchers, and graduate students of
Asia and related subjects.

Target Audience
The target audience includes business and government executives, graduate
and undergraduate business students, and scholar-practitioners who need a
single source regarding the effects of the Asia region on global economics
and politics.
