Call for Abstracts/ Papers

14TH INTERNATIONAL
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

June 21 – 23, 2016
Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA



Honouring the Past, Embracing the Now, Envisioning the Future

Join a distinguished, international community of Human Resources academic teachers and researchers, and industry professionals as they convene in picturesque Victoria, British Columbia at the 14th meeting of the International Human Resources Management Conference (IHRM 2016). The conference offers the opportunity to:

•  dialogue about the latest research in Human Resources;
•  exchange insights about how to move research into practice; and,
•  expand one’s professional network to include new international collaborations.

We invite submissions on any topic pertaining to human resources management.

We welcome submissions that cover conceptual, theoretical and empirical investigations that adopt different methodologies and highlight the context-specific nature of IHRM.

At your discretion, we invite you to submit a maximum of two of the following:


  1.  Working and developmental papers (Abstracts of up to 700 words).
  2.  Competitive papers (up to 5,000 words as per Academy of Management Journal submission style).
  3.  Proposal for a Poster Presentation (up to 700 word description).


For all submissions, please include the theoretical or empirical background, research question and/or objectives, methodology, and (anticipated) implications or outcomes. All submissions must be original and should not have been previously accepted for publication in a journal, or presented in another conference. All papers will be peer reviewed.
