Non-Tenure Track Professor of International Business
The Sonoco International Business Department, Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina is seeking candidates for one or more non-tenure track positions in international business, to begin either January or August
2016. Consideration will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree in international business or a related field (with appointment as a clinical faculty member (rank open)) and to candidates with both a relevant masters degree and extensive international
business experience (with appointment as a lecturer).
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the competencies and expertise required to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses in international business. All courses taught will be international in content. Specific courses may
be thematic or functional focused, and may also include short-term study abroad programs. Regional or country expertise, and/or industry experience, is highly desirable. While this position focuses primarily on teaching, service and outreach activities will
also be an important part of the role. Professional engagement and/or research activities will be required in order to maintain the appropriate faculty qualifications status within the AACSB framework. (See attached.)
