Dear colleagues,
I would like to call to your attention the transition to a new editorial team under the editorship of Rosalie L. Tung for Cross Cultural Management: An International Journal. To reflect the broadened mission of the journal under the new editorial team, beginning in 2016, the journal will be retitled as Cross Cultural & Strategic Management (CCSM) in order to provide a forum for the publication of high-quality cross-cultural and strategic management research in the global context.
As incoming Social Media Editor, it is my responsibility to provide a platform of communications for readers of Cross Cultural & Strategic Management. For this purpose, two main channels of communication have been created: A Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CCSMJournal) and a Twitter account (https://twitter.com/CCSM_Journal). These channels will host new content and news regarding the journal as well as offer a platform for information and idea sharing, in-depth discussion, sharing of works in progress, and more informal interaction among those interested in all aspects of global management.
For example, Gert Jan Hofstede provides interesting insights into his Distinguished Scholar Essay on Culture's causes in an Author's Corner post on our Facebook page, where he talks about the choices he had to make while writing his article.
I would like to invite you to visit our channels and to join and follow us if you are interested in international business issues that extend beyond cross-cultural management to all aspects of global management, particularly in the area of strategic management.
We look forward to your contributions.
Best regards,
Richard Haans
