INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

 

Position Information

 

The Collins College of Business seeks applicants with teaching and research interests in International Business, as well as expertise in the subject area, for the tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of International Business in the School of Finance, Operations Management, and International Business.  Secondary interest in International Finance, Emerging Markets, or Comparative Cultures is desirable, but all International Business specializations will be considered.  Applicants must have a doctorate in business or a closely related field, or expect to receive a doctoral degree by December 2016. 

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a student-oriented teacher, and have a record of (or potential for) intellectual contributions consistent with the expectations of an AACSB International-accredited institution.  He or she is expected to teach and play a leadership role in the distinctive Bachelor of Science in International Business and Language degree program.  Anticipated start date is August 2016.  Rank will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, and salary is competitive based on qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include life, health, and disability insurance, and retirement contributions. 

 

The Collins College of Business

 

The Collins College of Business is nationally ranked by Bloomberg Business Week and is fully accredited by AACSB International, which maintains the highest standards for business schools in the world.  The College’s four academic units – Accounting and Management Information Systems; Energy Economics, Policy, and Commerce; Finance, Operations Management, and International Business; and Management and Marketing – encompass 40 full-time faculty members.  The College has an enrollment of 800 undergraduate and 250 graduate business students.

 

The University

Tulsa is one of the most livable and affordable cities in the United States with a metropolitan population of over 930,000 in the MSA, and a cost of living index of 85%.
