​​Khusro Memorial Lecture 2015


The James E. Lynch India and South Asia Business Centre, of Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, has great pleasure in inviting you to the 2015 Khusro Memorial Lecture.


The late Professor Khusro was a distinguished alumnus of the University of Leeds, where he obtained PhD in Economics in 1952. He was a famous academic, journalist, administrator and policy analyst in India. A brief profile of Professor Khusro can be found at:

The lecture will take place on the 30th June 2015, that is, the last day of the Academy of International Business 2015 Annual Meeting.


We are delighted to announce that the lecture will be given by Dr C Rangarajan. The lecture will start at 7 pm at the Banquet Level, Grand Ballroom, The Leela Palace, Bengaluru, immediately after the Closing Reception of the 2015 Annual Meeting.


The event is open to all AIB delegates.

Dr Rangarajan is a distinguished Indian economist. He is a former Chairman of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council and a former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. He has held many prominent positions, including membership of the Planning Commission and Rajya Sabha (Upper House of the Indian Parliament).


Dr Rangarajan obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1964. He has published extensively on issues relating to the Indian Economy.
