Call for Research Assistant
Title of the Grant: “Multivariate statistics and econometric analysis of Emerging Market Multinationals’ socio-environmental conduct”
Full-time, fixed term for 12 months
Salary: 23,334 Euros (gross) per annum
Expected Start Date: 1 July 2015 (negotiable)
We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work on the project “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Emerging Market Multinationals (EMNEs): What impacts on Europe?”. The project, funded with a grant by the University of Pisa (PRA_2015_0082), investigates the CSR conduct of EMNEs investing in Europe and the US, and EMNEs’ impact on the socio-environmental conduct of European and US taken-over firms.
The successful candidate will collaborate to our ongoing research (http://csrhrproject.ec.unipi.it/) and will be involved in data collection, dataset cleaning and micro-econometric analyses.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Applied Statistics, Economics, Management or related areas, and relevant expertise in micro-econometrics (especially panel data analysis) and multivariate statistics. The Research Assistant is expected to work mainly on the empirical part of the project. Expertise in International Business research, CSR research and Emerging market multinationals is desirable but not necessary.
