EIBA 2015 RIO – INVITATION & CALL FOR PAPERS
We are pleased to invite IB scholars and PhD students to submit papers to the
EIBA 2015 Conference, to be held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in Brazil,
December 1-3, 2015 (with post-conference events taking place December 4-5, 2015).
The deadline for EIBA 2015 submissions – Thursday, April 30, 2015 – is coming up fast…! Note that all dates are earlier than usual this year, mainly to allow EIBA conference delegates the convenience
and benefits of greater flexibility and lower costs when making their travel arrangements for EIBA 2015 in Rio. (To see an overview of the EIBA 2015 calendar, please see the

EIBA 2015 RIO – VENUE / STUDENT GRANTS / SOCIAL EVENTS & NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
The conference venue PUC-Rio is located in the middle of a rain forest, yet just a few minutes away from the famous beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. The organizers have kindly posted
LOGISTICS info and instructions on the EIBA 2015 Rio website to assist delegates and facilitate commuting from the airport to hotels as well as
to / from the conference venue. (See also related items under the VENUE and TRAVEL & HOTELS menus.)
The EIBA 2015 Rio organizers are pleased to offer some stipend grants to selected PhD students, in order to help cover part of their travel expenses to Rio de Janeiro; more details and eligibility requirements are available
on the EIBA 2015 conference website page
GRANTS FOR PHD STUDENTS.
The EIBA Annual Conference is famous for its enjoyable gala dinner – with good food and drink being served throughout the EIBA
award presentations, followed by music and dancing to cap off and celebrate the event amongst colleagues and friends. In Rio de Janeiro, we will gladly continue the EIBA tradition and hope to even surpass your expectations!
The EIBA Annual Conference provides a professional yet warm and friendly family atmosphere where prominent IB scholars, PhD students, faculty, scholars and practitioners of all ages, are able to interact freely and learn from one another.

EIBA 2015 RIO – SUBMISSION & REVIEW PROCESS
The theme of the EIBA 2015 conference is International Business after the BRIC’s Rush.
Submissions to EIBA 2015 Rio are invited for the following
tracks:
- Theme track: International business after the BRIC’s rush
- Developments in IB theory
- International marketing
- FDI in and from emerging market economies
- SMEs, international new ventures and international entrepreneurship
- International finance, accounting and corporate governance
- International HRM and cross-cultural management
- Foreign entry mode and management of the value chain
- Headquarters-subsidiary relations, knowledge transfer and inter-firm spill-overs
- MNEs, institutional environment, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development
- MNE strategy and organization
- International networks and alliances
- Special track: Methods in international business research
- Special track: Teaching international business

All suitable submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed. Accepted papers for competitive and interactive sessions, as well as structured abstracts for posters, will be included in the EIBA 2015 Rio conference proceedings.

ATTENTION: This site is also where one can sign-up as a
Reviewer – and where Authors with submitted papers can login to follow the progress of their submissions and eventually retrieve their reviews.
Decisions on submissions to EIBA 2015 Rio will be delivered by
June 30, 2015.
