PhD Scholarship focused on Australia China business cooperation
The Australia China Business Network within the University of Sydney Business School undertakes China related research with academic and corporate partners. It is recognised for its thought leadership reports
on Demystifying Chinese Investment in Australia.
Description: A full-time postgraduate research scholarship is available for a PhD candidate with a research interest in Australia China business cooperation, preferably
relating to agribusiness.
Successful candidate profile:

Good written and verbal communication skills;
·
Ability to work both independently as part of a research team with academic staff, PhD candidates and industry partners;
·
Be able to spend significant time with partner organisations in China to collect data and information;
·
Possess statistical data analysis skills;
·
Participate in Network events, workshops and related industry seminars;
·
Contribute to consultancy reports;
·
Publish findings in reputable journals and present at national and international conferences;
·
A working knowledge of Chinese would be a benefit.

Amount Awarded: The scholarship is valued at $30,000 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress. The scholarship
is paid as stipend on a fortnightly basis. Successful international candidates may also be considered for a Fee Award that covers tuition fees.
