LUFP is the non-profit organization that operates Urbandale Farm. Its mission is to produce fresh, affordable produce and to develop community-building programs, all in a sustainable way. Find us online at: www.lansingurbanfarmproject.wordpress.com LUFP is offering five unpaid urban farmer internships for spring 2015. Interns will work with farm staff to plant, weed, tend, and harvest hoop house crops. Interns will also prepare outdoor fields for a season of growing and plant early crops such as onions, cabbage, radishes, and salad mix. Interns will help prepare for markets, build community outreach, and complete other farm tasks.
