About JCHRM

The Journal of Chinese Human Resource Management (JCHRM) is the first journal to cater for a steadily-increasing number of researchers, practitioners and University lecturers focusing on a crucial field: the management of one fifth of the world's workforce in China and the surrounding regions of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Launched in 2010, JCHRM comes at a time when Chinese human resource management theory, research and practices have global implications.

Ranked by Scopus, JCHRM's mission is to publish original research and contribute to indigenous and general HRM knowledge in three major categories:

1.Chinese human resource management, including research in and on Chinese local firms, Chinese multinational companies operating in or outside China and international multinational companies in China;

2.International, cross-cultural and comparative HRM with China or Chinese individuals and organizations as a component; and

3.Human resources related policy research and analysis at an organizational, regional, or national level, also with China and Chinese organizations as a component.

*Attending conferences or similar events to promote the Journal and source copy;
*Working with the Journal Publisher (at Emerald) to achieve agreed development objectives for the Journal and to raise its international profile and standing.
