I tried Symantec originally but then switch to Sophos. I haven't had any issues and it seems pretty easy to work with.

We run Viper Premium that also patches 3rd party software.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Current Windows antivirus options?

hi,

My Vipre antivirus subscription is expiring. Looks like they want $7.65 per seat for one year, or $12.80 for three years. (Quantity 100) I'm moderately satisfied with Vipre. It has let a few things slip through, but generally been OK.

I see the Computer Store has:

1) Symantec Endpoint Protection, $9.50 for about 18 months,

2) NOD32, $18.50 for about 11 months of coverage.

Any suggestions or guidance from other campus administrators?

thanks
