Dear Fellow AIB Members,

I am putting out a call to all AIB scholars who would be interested in working with me to create panels for the 2015 AIB Annual Meeting that will address the following topics.

1.  The relationship between probable future resource constraints and the creation, configuration and evolution of global supply chains.

2.  The relationship between global warming and the creation, configuration and evolution of global supply chains.

3.  The relationship between global warming and the creation, configuration and evaluation of global value chains.

4.  The role of the MNE (in all its various sizes) in helping host countries achieve their sustainable development and economic development (with an emphasis on poverty alleviation) goals.

5.  How MNEs can become a proactive and vital component of the United Nations' sustainable development goals (that will be determined later in 2015).

6.  The interaction, in an IB context, between the public and private sectors in the effort to address income inequality.

I also am interested in possible co-authorship opportunities on papers addressing the above topics, either for submission to the 2015 meeting or future uses.

Each of these topic areas would, and which track would be the best match for them, be fleshed out depending on the number of interested collaborators and the nature of their work.  I will take on the responsibility for preparing all panel submissions, however because I am not certain I will be able to attend the meeting, I will need a co-chair as well.

If interested, please let me know by January 8th which panel(s) most interest you and how you would participate.

Looking forward to working with you on what I hope you agree are some important issues.

Best regards,

John Dilyard
