During this maintenance the following will be done: - SIP.MSU.EDU will no longer accept unencrypted traffic from off campus. All SIP traffic will need to be TLS encrypted if you plan on using any SIP devices off campus. - The IP address for SIP.MSU.EDU will be changing. Users should be using sip.msu.edu as their registrar/proxy for any SIP traffic. - The firmware will be upgraded to the latest revision. What users can expect : - From 5:00pm to 5:30pm there may be a loss of service for SIP devices. This includes Avaya One-X Mobile devices (iOS/Android/iPad), B179 Conference phones, and Avaya One-X Communicator users. - Users of generic SIP clients who are not located on campus will no longer be able to connect and place calls. Users of One-X Communicator, Avaya Communicator (Android), Avaya One-X Mobile SIP (iOS/iPad) and Avaya Flare Experience (iPad) will continue to be able to use these devices off campus in addition to any SIP client that supports TLS and has TLS turned on. ***********
