The Administrative Sciences Association of Canada International Business Division invites you to submit a paper or symposium proposal<http://asac2010.uregina.ca/en/cfp/ASAC2010%20Symposium%20Submission%20Guidelines.pdf> for its 43rd annual conference

Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA

June 13-16, 2015

“Historic Proportions: Charting A New Path”

ASAC 2015 is will be hosted by the Sobey School of Business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The conference theme, “Historic Proportions: Charting A New Path,” came from a combination of recognizing the historical significance of Halifax as one of Canada’s oldest cities with the importance of problematizing the past to better understand the present and theorize the future.

The IB division of ASAC 2015 will accept two types submissions. A regular track welcomes fully developed manuscripts, with sessions consisting of formal presentations. We are also holding an interactive track for manuscripts under development with a focus on up-and-coming IB research agendas, such as, but not limited to, how context (historical, cultural, institutional, business, personal) influences firms’ international behaviour. Interactive papers will be discussed in a workshop setting and the suitable format is a 5-page, single-spaced, extended abstract that covers the research question, theoretical background, proposed research design, and contribution. Figures, tables, and references do not count towards the 5-page limit, and should be provided at the end of the document.

Please consider ASAC 2015 IB Division for your submissions. Original papers, written in English or French, are welcome to be submitted to www.2015.asac.ca<http://www.2015.asac.ca> no later than 12:00 noon on February 15, 2015.

The IB division of ASAC 2015 invites volunteers to register as reviewers. Reviewers can expect to be sent one to three manuscripts after the submission deadline for papers (which is February 15, 2015), and the reviewing process will take place between February 20 and March 8, 2015.
