If you plan to travel north and explore the Michigan's Fall, this weekend or during next week could be the best choice!
Porcupine Mountains State Park reports full color in many parts of the park, and it starts from this past weekend and perhaps will last till next weekend.Traveling time from Lansing area is around 8 hours and 45 mins one-way.
Keweenaw Peninsula - Cooper Harbor expects peak color this weekend or next week.Traveling time from Lansing area is around 9 hours one-way. Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore is showing good colors this coming weekend and into October.Traveling time from Lansing area is around 6 hours one-way.
Tahquamenon Falls State Park reports very good color now and expect full color breaking out this coming weekend and if leaves hold may see color into second week of October.Traveling time from Lansing area is around 4 hours 43 mins one-way.
Lower Michigan would have the peak color soon in another week or two.
