William Loschert Chair in Entrepreneurship

 

Fordham University Schools of Business seeks to fill the newly established William Loschert Chair in Entrepreneurship.  The position is housed in the Management Systems Area and is part of Fordham’s strategic thrust to take a leading role in the growing importance of social entrepreneurship in our economy. Fordham has built a lasting connection with the thriving entrepreneurship community in the New York Metropolitan area especially in the fields of social entrepreneurship, information technology, media, finance, fashion, healthcare, complex manufacturing and others.  The William Loschert Chair enhances this connection while building a robust academic research agenda in social entrepreneurship and social innovation.

This position has been established in order to expand upon Fordham’s existing interdisciplinary research agenda and curricular efforts in the field of social entrepreneurship.  The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related field and a distinguished academic record with international reputation in social entrepreneurship and social innovation as demonstrated by top tier publications.  The ideal candidate will provide leadership in mentoring the junior faculty in the schools of business in their research related to social entrepreneurship.
