Hi, Kevin Trenberth, Distinguished Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research; and a lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report leading to the 2007 nobel peace prize; will give two talks on climate change as follows: Physics Colloquium: Thursday Sept. 18th, 4:10pm in BPS1415 "Earth's energy balance revisited" coffee and cookies in BPS 1400 at 3:45pm. Public Lecture: Thursday Sept. 18th, 8:00pm in BPS1410 "Climate change assessment. It's about the data isn't it?" refreshments in the BPS atrium at 7:30pm The poster for the public lecture is attached.
