I am writing to let you know about an exciting new opportunity to join a team at Lawrence Hall of Science that is working to develop and test new models of science and literacy integration for use in K-5 classrooms. While we are already launched in the project and well on our way with some design teams in place, we are still hiring and we are continuing to search for a few special positions. We particularly need people who combine expertise and experience working and teaching in early elementary classrooms with a strong science background (preferably at least a BA or BS in science).
The people that we are looking to hire would need to be good collaborators as the development will involve working closely with a partner with expertise in early childhood literacy as well as meeting frequently with larger teams composed of app developers, assessment folks and team leaders.   It is a dynamic and exciting environment that entails lots of creative work and a constant flow of ideas.  As you might imagine, children and learning are at the heart of everything we are do.
