SAGE Business Cases is an informative new online offering from SAGE. The
collection, consisting of business and management case studies, associated
teaching notes and videos will be hosted on SAGE’s premier eBook platform,
SAGE Knowledge, and will be made available to academic libraries on a
global basis, allowing for institution-wide online access to every case
study. *This assignment pays 0.08 per word.*

We are looking for interesting cases that bring business concepts and
problems to life. Cases should be between 3000 and 5000 words in length.
They should engage the student with the scenario, be rich in detail, and
pose intriguing business challenges for discussion. A successful case will
grab the reader with an engaging introduction, provide a set of achievable
learning outcomes, and conclude with a succinct summary; include a range of
pedagogically interesting questions around which to base class discussion;
outline the background and context necessary for analysis, including
theoretical pointers, key facts, issues and counter points; and assume a
global, multicultural readership. Some of the initial topics covered
include the following:

Automation (Service)

Big Data (Product Design and Planning)

CEO Compensation (Analysis of Relationship with Performance)

Climate Change (Effects on Coffee Supply)

Crisis Management and Communication (Poorly Handled)

Crowdfunding (Technology Product)

Digital Marketing (Social Media; Nonprofit Organization)

Disruptive Innovation (Consumer Product)

Doing Business in India (Quality Control)

Ethics and the Financial Industry (Payday Loans)

Oil and Gas Industry (Economic and Social Effects on Developing Country)

Pay Equity (Switzerland)

U.S. Agriculture Industry (Growth in Demand for American Meat in China)

Venture Capital and Innovation (Empirical Study)

Women and Minorities in Top Management

Work-Life Balance (Breaking the Electronic Tether; Ireland)

Each business case will include the name and affiliation of the contributor
in the byline of the entry. Please note we apologize in advance, but we
have a very tight deadline for the first 50 business cases: *October 15,
2014*. If this deadline is not feasible for you, please do not respond. If
you are able to meet this deadline and are interested in contributing to
this cutting-edge project, it is a unique opportunity to contribute to the
contemporary literature, redefining business issues in today’s terms.
Moreover, it can be a notable publication addition to your CV/resume.
Golson Media, producer of this project, offers an honorarium at 8 cents per
word, based on the total number of words in the complete submission.

The list of available business cases is already prepared, and as a next
step we will e-mail you the Business Cases List (Excel file) from which you
can select topics that best fit your expertise and interests. Additionally,
a Style Guide will be provided that details specifications. If you would
like to contribute to building a truly outstanding reference with the SAGE
Business Cases, *please contact me by the e-mail information below*. Please
provide your CV or a brief summary of your academic/publishing credentials
in related disciplines. Thanks very much.
