Busch Chair in Strategic Management  (Tenure Track)

Position duties

We are seeking a distinguished professor who is capable of interacting with the business and management community and who can administer and conduct theoretical and applied research in management.
The candidate is required to teach an advanced seminar in his or her area of expertise, organize a conference as a forum for the business and academic community and continue an excellent research and publication stream in scholarly journals. 
The candidate must be able to teach courses in the undergraduate, graduate and Executive MBA programs offered by Loyola University Maryland. The teaching load is 2 courses per semester, with 2-3 preps, with research and service to the department, school, and university. Candidates must maintain a strong research agenda with demonstrated publication in peer-reviewed and high profile journals.

Required qualifications

Have an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent).
Demonstrate a strong, active record as a teacher, with accomplishments commensurate with the rank of associate or full professor. Show flexibility as a teacher, e.g., the ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses in undergraduate and graduate programs.
Distinguished record of scholarship as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications in highly selective journals within the discipline. The candidate should have the ability to provide research leadership within the department.
