Cottage to Commercial: Ingredients For A Successful Food Business
Presented by Diane Smith, Innovation Counselor at MSU Product Center

Friday, September 26th - 1-3PM at Allen Market Place, 1629 E. Kalamazoo St. Lansing, MI 48912

Are you interested in starting a commercial food business based on your favorite recipe or a value-added agriculture product? Would you like to go beyond the limits of the Michigan Cottage Food Law and become licensed? If your food is a sauce, salsa, pickled vegetable, beverage, dairy product, or product that contains meat, take this class!

This session will focus on basic food processing, licensing, legal requirements, marketing, business planning, and the resources of the MSU Product Center.
