Are you passionate about the environment?  Interested in getting trained in grassroots organizing and leadership skills.  We have a couple positions for MSU students who are passionate about the environment because they understand connections between humans, the environment and public health. We are interested in students focusing on public health and/or the environment and we will be working with students throughout the fall semester to train them around these issues, as well as how to advocate for them.

We are looking for motivated students who can effectively engage their peers to support more renewable energy and energy efficiency in Michigan. Students will work to collect comments, host events, and interact with elected officials to make their voices heard on this critical issue. No prior organizing experience is required for this position, as we will offer training for our fellows. This is a great position for anyone who is interested in learning more about how to advocate for the issues they care about.

This is a joint effort between National Wildlife Federation, Ecology Center and MI Air, MI Health Coalition.  This is a stipend fellowship position and runs through the fall term.
