The School of Labor and Employment Relations at The Pennsylvania State University  (http://lser.la.psu.edu/) invites applications for a tenure track or tenured faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to begin August 2015. The School seeks candidates with research and teaching interests and expertise in international/comparative labor and employment relations or labor and employment law. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline. Candidates for the Assistant Professor rank must have completed all of their requirements for a Ph.D. by the appointment date and possess significant research potential; candidates for the Associate Professor rank must have a strong research record. External funding potential will also be considered.

The School of Labor and Employment Relations is a growing multidisciplinary program with strong B.A. and B.S. in Labor and Employment Relations (LER), M.S. and M.P.S. in Human Resources and Employment Relations (HRER), and MPS in Labor and Global Workers’ Rights programs. The School also sponsors the Center for Global Workers’ Rights (http://lser.la.psu.edu/gwr) and the Center for International Human Resource Studies (http://lser.la.psu.edu/ihrm/). The person hired for this position will have the opportunity to participate in these programs and initiatives.
