The University of Colorado Denver is pleased to announce its January 5-15, 2015 China faculty development program in international business,
The Opportunities and Challenges Facing China. This program will be held in Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Kunming, and Yichang (to visit the Three Gorges Dam). We invite you and other colleagues to participate.
This ten-day program examines developments evolving under China’s current Five Year Plan. It focuses on westward expansion, manufacturing to service, high value-added research and development, sustainability, clean energy and environmental
protection, entrepreneurship, and quality of life. Participating faculty will enhance their knowledge of conducting business in China, develop expertise to internationalize courses and add more global business content to their curricula, network with other
faculty interested in international business and in China, and explore research opportunities.
The participant cost is $4500 based on single occupancy. This includes hotel, most meals, transportation in China, site visits, and cultural tours. It does not include airfare to/from Asia, incidental expenses, tips, passport and visa
fees, and a few meals. Applications will be accepted through October 1, 2014. For additional information about the program and to apply, please go to
